Each box will include approximately 9-11 lbs of pasture-raised chicken.

Meat Box Local procures all of their chicken from Belted Oak Ranch which is a small family farm located in northern Ohio focused on providing friends and neighbors with high-quality, nutrient-dense food using regenerative farming practices. Raised on a small farm located in Creston OH, Belted Oak Ranch is happy to provide you with pasture-raised chicken. They raise day-old chicks in their brooder for 2-3 weeks until they are old enough to forage. At 2-3 weeks old, they are moved to floor-less "chicken tractors" that are moved daily in a diverse pasture to provide them a fresh, clean area. By doing this, they can forage on grasses, legumes, and bugs, and can enjoy all the fresh air and sunshine they want. They are also provided a fresh locally sourced complete poultry feed and clean water. They are then processed and packaged at a USDA inspected processing plant.
Add on the chicken box and have it delivered with your Perfectly Imperfect Produce and Diced & Easy orders. All meat boxes are packaged by Meat Box Local in a separate facility and in separate boxes from our fruits and veggies. Your Meat Box Local order comes frozen with the use of dry ice.
